The demands of work, family and everyday responsibilities can leave us feeling drained, anxious and disconnected from our true selves. However, in my experience self-care goes beyond just taking a bubble bath or a spa day. It’s about nurturing our mind, body and spirit in a way that promotes healing, growth, connection and peace.

This can include various practices and tools to support our journey toward inner harmony. In this blog, we'll be exploring how combining different self-care aspects can help cultivate deep healing, clarity, connection and balance in our life.


What Is Self-Care and Why Is It Important?

Self-care is the intentional act of caring for our well-being by focusing on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects. It's about making sure we’re not just surviving, but thriving. When we ignore our needs or push ourselves too hard, we can experience burnout, stress and a sense of being disconnected from our lives and our purpose.


Holistic self-care includes all aspects that support us:

Physical self-care | Getting enough rest, eating nourishing foods and engaging in regular exercise

I like to do a reading before to see what guidance wants to come and then proceed to having Reiki to allow the guidance and insight to be assimilated and processed.  It will really support to balance energy and relax whilst gaining insight into your life path.  Journaling after the sessions to reflect on the messages and insights received

  • Listen to Your Intuition**:
    The most important part of self-care is listening to your own needs. Pay attention to how your body and mind feel after a Reiki session or guidance reading. Trusting your inner wisdom and adjusting practices as needed.
